Provisional Conditions of Entry

 

1. All members of the club are eligible to enter work for the exhibition.

 

2. All entries must be accompanied by a completed entry form.

 

3. No image will be accepted which has been entered and judged at a previous club annual trophy competition but work entered for monthly competitions etc. is fully acceptable.

 

4. An image may be entered into onlyone category and be in either the print or the PI section.

 

5. A maximum of 3 projected images and/or 3 prints per member may be entered in the exhibition.

 

6. Categories of entry are listed on the entry form.

 

7. All Print entries must bear the category, membership number, title of photograph, as on the entry form E.g. Natural History. 104.Dandelion.

 

8. All prints must be suitably mounted, maximum size of mount 40cms x 50cms

 

9. Trade processed prints will be accepted.

 

10. Prints will be judged for the trophy related to their category and also for the Best Print in the Competition. I.e. Colour Print Exhibition Cup or Monochrome Cup as appropriate

 

11. For Projected Images, the initial letter of the category, membership number, followed by the title of photograph. E.g. O,Membership number,Washing day.

Digital projected images should conform to club competition parameters. 1400x1050pixels and jpg.

Projected Images will be judged for the trophy related to their category and also for the Best Projected Image in the Competition. I.e. Projected Image Exhibition Cup.

All images will be judged together to find best print and best projected image.

Awards will also be given for each of the following categories:

Humanities (H)

Landscape/Seascape (L)

Natural History (N)

Other (O)

Indicate in column 3 below the appropriate code letter for each entry ie H,L,N or O.
